Tree Pose (Vrksasana) is typically among the first balancing postures learned in yoga asana, and is still one of my favorites. I love the symbolism of a tree with its roots reaching far down into the earth as the branches grow up and out.
In this two-minute tutorial, I share a few tricks of the trade to help you both ground and stabilize your Tree Pose. Remember: it’s okay to wobble. Be patient, have fun, and if you happen to fall don’t forget to smile.
