Adorable 2-Year-Old Learns To Walk On Prosthetics (VIDEO)

Created July 25, 2014

If you've been needing a dose of motivation and inspiration, you've come to the right place.

Ladies and gents, meet Kayden Elijah Kinckle. He's a 2-yr-old boy who was born with a condition called Omhalocele, which made his abdominal organs stick out his belly button. Kayden's mom, Nikki, was advised by her doctors during her pregnancy that Kayden "wouldn't make it" but she chose to keep the baby.

Now, Kayden has undergone two surgeries, and in January, his left leg and right foot were amputated. The video you see above is of Kayden taking his first steps and learning to walk in his prosthetics.

We could all learn something from this li'l guy — how he (so adorably) says "oh no, oh no" when he starts to fall, but still keeps going, falls and gets up over and over, and at one point even says "I got it, I got it!" Definitely inspiring and awww-worthy.

You can learn more about Kayden and help him and his family here.
