Every year, National Geographic hosts its National Geographic Traveler Photo Contest, and the winners for 2015 are in! And the results are out of this world.

Photographers can choose to submit their photos in four different categories: Travel Portraits, Outdoor Scenes, Sense of Place, and Spontaneous Moments. This year, the judges reviewed almost 18,000 entries, and picked their top ten favorites.

From swimming with humpback whales, to Kushti Indian wrestling, to camel racing, these photos have it all. So if you're in the midst of planning your next vacation, prepare to be inspired to go check out somewhere new. And make sure to take lots of pictures, because maybe you'll win next year's contest!
