4 Words That Will Change Your Life

Yoga | Yoga for Beginners

Words are so powerful. We often forget that what we say has weight, and thatour words can manifest our realities. Words can even change our consciousness and that of others. Put simply, what we say eventually becomes who we are.

Here are four words that everyone can say more!

1. Yes!

Why not say yes to opportunities? Why not say yes to an adventure? Yes people have more fun, more friends and better social success. No one wants to be around a downer. Constantly refusing invitations will make people less inclined to invite.

Saying no completely shuts down an opportunity.

“No” can stop an idea in its tracks. Be a yes person. Give it a try. Say yes first, and save “no” for only the unreasonable.

2. Possible

If we believe in possibility, we can make it happen. The first step to realizing a goal is to believe it IS possible to do so. Believe in possibility. Everything is possible.

3. Thank You

Acknowledging the nice things others do for us makes us feel richer. Saying thank you not only makes the ‘thanker’ feel grateful, but the thankee gets a little boost as well, knowing that his hard work did not go unnoticed. In our rushed society that moves altogether too quickly, taking the time to say Thank You can really go a long way.

4. Fortunate

Studies have shown that people who feel fortunate report higher happiness ratings than those who don’t. Take time each day to reflect on all the things you are fortunate to have. In fact, why don’t you make a list of 3 things that you are fortunate about right now.

Write it down, review it tomorrow, and then add three more. When we realize how many wonderful things we already have in our lives, we can feel so much more content.

By embracing positive speech patterns we can become more optimistic, more attractive to others, and more successful in life. Try including these words in your life more and see how your life changes for the better.
