To me, tattoos are a way of expressing myself on the outside. My body is my temple, and my temple likes to be decorated. They're meant to be seen and shared, and my tattoos give me an opportunity to discuss my passions with all different kinds of people.
So of course, when your passion is yoga, you're more likely to have yoga-inspired tattoos. From beautiful, to funny, to just plain impressive, these eighteen people really showed their commitment to their practice in their body art.

Of course, tattoos aren't for everyone by any means. But for those who have them, they help serve as a reminder of their journey; where they've been and where they're going. And this is one of the beautiful things about yoga. It teaches us to accept everyone for who they are and what makes them different.
At the very least, the cool tattoo on the person in front of you in yoga class makes for an interesting drishti point!
